This the fourth in a series of 12" x 12" miniatures made in 2020 and based on my previous original designs. This one is based on my 2010 quilt, Lepidopteran #2. A photograph of the unquilted top was digitally altered in Corel Draw and the design was printed on cotton fabric by Spoonflower. It was machine quilted with many different colors of thread. The backing fabric is from one of my collections for Benartex. The binding fabric is one of the fabrics used in the original (48" x 48") quilt. |
