| Having achieved ages that cause us to think about bucket lists, we decided to check off two items with a combined cruise in the Galapagos and trip to Machu Picchu. Both destinations were wonderful in their own ways. We especially enjoyed the abundant wildlife in the Galapagos, the ancient Incan city of Cuzco, the Hiram Bingham Orient Express train trip to Machu Picchu, and of course the fabulous ruins, which were both beautiful and an amazing feat of engineering.
