Table Setup
Description:
Learn the secrets of Caryl's luminous color
gradations and graceful applipieced curves while
making this eye-dazzling 20" x 24"
wall hanging.
Supplies Needed:
(NOTE: If you
are taking this class at the Houston Quilt Festival,
the items with *
will be provided.)
FABRIC: A kit with all fabric needed
for the quilt top will be provided along with
a pattern for $30.00.
*SEWING
MACHINE: One that is friendly and well adjusted.
You must know how to operate your machine. Your
machine MUST HAVE ZIGZAG. Bring an open-toed
embroidery foot if you have one. (Bernina #20)
OTHER
- Invisible thread: Superior Mono-poly is
recommended. Caryl will have some available
for sale in the class.
- *Heavy
duty Extension Cord with two outlets.
- *Iron:
Preferably with steam
- *Table
Top Ironing Pad
- Scissors (paper and fabric)
- Small watercolor brush or cotton swab.
- Niagara Spray Starch or small container
of other liquid starch. You will not need
much. You can just spray some starch into
a small shampoo bottle or other tight container.
One can may be shared by the whole class.
- Glue Stick
- Scotch Brand Magic Tape (or other non-shiny
cellophane tape)
- Litter Bag
