with slides, sewing machines, and irons

Preferred Classroom Table Setup

• Space that can be easily darkened for showing slides.   Slide will not show up if the room is light. There are lots of slides in this class first thing on day one.
• KODAK carousel projector and screen. Projector must have a spare bulb.  Please check to see that it operates properly before the workshops
• Two-three tables for demonstrations and display of work.
• Table space with enough room for each student to work at a sewing machine, with a large cutting board and iron next to it. (Ideally, one table per student)
• Room must have adequate lighting and ventilation.

• Room must have outlets and electrical capacity to support sewing machines and at least one iron for every two students.
