Classroom Requirements
two day workshops
with digital presentation, sewing machines, and irons

Preferred Classroom Table Setup

• Space that can be easily dimmed for digital presentations.   Images will not show up well if the room is light.
• Screen, blank white wall, or large white board (not shiny) for projecting digital presentations.
• Small table or rolling cart for projector. (in USA and Canada Caryl will bring her own projector if your venue is not equiped with a digital projector.
• Two-three tables for demonstrations and display of work.
• Table space with enough room for each student to work at a sewing machine, with a large cutting board and iron next to it. (Ideally, one table per student)
• Room must have adequate lighting and ventilation.
• Please see preferred classroom setup
• Room must have outlets and electrical capacity to support sewing machines and at least one iron for every two students.

Access to the circuit breaker box is also important in case this is miscalculated.

DO NOT IGNORE THIS REQUIREMENT!!!

If the following items are available they would be very useful in the class.

• Foam core boards for students to use as design walls.
• For Getting Comfy with Curves only: Overhead projector (two or three would be great if they are available)
• Quilt stands for hanging quilts
• White/dry erase board or black board
