-
Screen or blank wall for projecting video (I will
bring my own computer projector if one is not available in the room)
-
Two tables for display and one table for demonstrations.
-
Celotex boards or foam core boards for students
to use as design walls. 40" x 60" foam core boards are
ideal. They are easy to handle and can be stored for the next workshop
or sold to students at the end of the class.
-
Overhead projector (more than one will be nice if
the class is large)
-
Table space with enough room for each student to
work at a sewing machine, with a large cutting board and iron next
to it. (Ideally, one table per student)
-
Room must have adequate lighting and ventilation.
-
-
Room must have outlets and electrical capacity to
support sewing machines and at least one iron for every two students.
|
Access to the circuit breaker box
is also important
in case this is miscalculated.
|
|
DO NOT IGNORE
THIS REQUIREMENT!!!
|
If the following items are available they would be very useful
in the class.
-
Quilt stands for hanging quilts
-
White/dry erase board or black board
