DEMYSTIFYING
THE NEW TOOLS
Freeform Computer Design for Quilters
45-60 minutes
design process & technique
Caryl explains the difference between a bit map, and a vector
drawing, and shows exactly how she uses them to create the freeform
designs in her quilts. The design tools she uses can be found
in many different programs, for both Macintosh and PC computers.
Even if you never want a computer, you will find the process
interesting and entertaining, and you can use many of the same
processes with paper and pencil.
A question and answer time after each lecture is welcome.

This program can be expanded into a 2-3 hour seminar, with
the addition of more information, demonstrations and a segment
about printing on fabric.
