Fabric: Bring small pieces of fabric in as wide a range of colors and values (light to dark) as you can manage. Snippets left over from other quilts are fine. You won't need a large amount of any one fabric, but you will want plenty of choices to play with. Metallics, foils, or anything else you can sew through will add to the fun.

Thread: Bring a variety of colored threads in cotton or polyester, as well as clear monofilament. Rayons, metallics, and variegated threads can be included but using them will not be part of the class instruction.
