- What size quilt do you need?

- Color requirements. (swatches of upholstery, carpeting, wall
covering, etc. will be helpful)
- Photos, snap shots, slides, or Polaroids of the installation
site, as well as other areas surrounding the site. (other walls,
what is in the space, other artwork, general floor plan)
- What, exactly, attracted the you to my work? Which particular
works did you see as appropriate to your requirements, and what
was it about those works that you would like to see in your commission?
- When do you need the commission completed?
Once I have a clear understanding of your needs
and wishes, I can, if necessary, provide full color sketches for
a design fee of $500.00. This will be subtracted from the total
cost of the commission if a contract is signed, but it is not refundable.
Once a contract is signed, a 50% deposit will be
required, before I begin dying fabric for the commission. The remaining
50% will be due and payable upon delivery of the work.
Commissions take from six weeks to six months,
depending on the size and complexity of the quilt, other commissions
previously scheduled, and my travel schedule.
Prices for commissions vary and are based on the size
and complexity of the work commissioned. The prices listed are for
the work only. Any designer/architect fees, installation fees, etc.
will be added to these prices. Shipping in the continental USA is
included if shipping container and packing materials are returned.
Shipping and the cost of the shipping container are extra if you
